Did a lot of research online, still can't quite seem to nail down any definitive information on this exact one...I know some were made in Japan and others in Korea, at some point EKO in Italy was involved too, there were lower end and nicer ones but there isn't much more info available.

Grabbed this one up for $150 - set neck, looks like decent tuners, really cool finish, and also has the binding over the fret ends which not many of these seem to...not sure if that's an indication it's one of the nicer ones, but we'll see. Binding has yellowed quite nicely...which I am a sucker for.

Couple of typical GC-quality weirdly sized pics here, and will post more when it arrives. If anyone has any info on these, please share!

Yep that's going to be my next post, looked over there but didn't spot any exactly like this one. The only time I've found my exact one online was on this old MLP forum post...not much info to be found:

Gearlist: A few LP's, a Strat, a Tele and a few acoustics.

I don't have any lineage info to share, but it looks like a winner to me for $150 no matter where it was made or when. Especially with the Vintage vibe it has going on.

Very intriguing. I'm a sucker for any double bound LP with block inlays. Looking forward to seeing how this pans out.

Same! I'm a real sucker for the aged double binding thing, not sure if these inlays are real pearl or not but does look like a solid build overall. It arrives in two days, so I'll report back!

I feel the same way, we'll find out soon! I just got the shipping notification and the weight of the package is 17 lbs...I have a feeling this thing's goin' to have some heft to it...or there's an included case that wasn't mentioned. Always a mystery with good ole' GC!
