It is incredibly ergonomic, actually that was the whole point behind the creation of the guitar according to the designer who I had a really great chat with over on TGP . It's the most ergonomic guitar I own that still has a headstock (the Kiesel Vaders are more ergonomic, but of course them being headless is a huge part of that), and one of the best sounding.nomadh wrote: ↑Mon Jul 20, 2020 11:27 amVery attractive. Looks functional but nice. seems ergo for some reason although I cant say why. Except the rev headstock. Cool or not it is the opposite of ergonomic to me.slowhand84 wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 11:31 amThanks JB! Now that you mention it, continuing this series here with a polarizing one just cuz it's such a weirdo (probably the biggest oddball in the collection), but it's actually one of my absolute favorites and one hell of an ergonomic instrument.
This is a B-Way Mercury model - mahogany body, killer flame top, dark roasted maple neck and fretboard, Hipshot hardware, and a pair of Q pickups P90s.
There were only a couple made, the designer still has one (a plainer version currently for sale), I have one, and Walter Becker from Steely Dan had one.
I can't say that I would've paid the $3500 new price, but then again I wouldn't shell out that much for any guitar. For the ridiculous price I paid though, it is a stunning instrument.
