New going for $997 (at current exchange rate)

Listed for $735 about a 26% discount. Looks pretty new, comes with hard case.

I wanted to wait until Christmas to buy something but this seems pretty sweet. If I could get him down another $50..hmmm..ahh..grandma can do without that new kidney for a few more months right ?

Now I'm wondering if that case is included in the price..that's got to be at least $120 just in the case. I really don't need the case, if it's included, I'd definitely do the guitar for a discount

The case is extra with the 5622, not bundled. At least that is how it was when I bought mine.
Great guitars!

Boy..not making it any easier to hold back on this one. A little 'blingy' as it's the 140th anniversary edition but I do like the style and now that Mickey has offered a very positive view I might have to make this guy an offer tomorrow. I'm thinking about $675 would be a fair offer sans case...let's see what happens

Wow..that's a looker !

Still likely going to grab one anyway for Christmas. I like that natural (Speyside) finish they offer on the 5622t. Will look good on the wall

They are fine guitars. They had a mint condition used one in GC for months and I do believe it was right around the $400 mark. I played it every time I went in there and almost bought it twice. I eventually opted for the Guild Starfire DC semi and I love it. Last time I was in GC the Gretsch was gone.

New the Guild and the Gretsch are exactly the same price here, it really comes down to color/finish preference as I think they are similar in quality too
