I used to own a Riviera with the mini hums and frequensator tailpiece but it had a toothpick neck. I REALLY liked the guitar but it was painful for me to play. I also have a Candy Apple Gretsch Streamliner and that guitar has a nice slightly chunky neck despite it's description of slim U. It is 1-1116" at the nut and .89" at the first fret. It is described as Candy Apple Red but it is more of a burgundy out of the full sun. Well Gretsch went and introduced a brother from another mother. This one is natural which I prefer and is 1/2" thinner body. If neck profile is the same I will have to get out my credit card. The only downside is the gold hardware but at this stage of my life I think I can live with it. I like their stock pups and all it should need is a set of locking tuners that my lazy self prefers when restringing.

I have been waiting on these to become available. I am patient.
