Well damn, I'm going to be sorry to see Reville go. Today I got the TVY Q90 I intend to use as a bench-tester for pickups. After the normal fret filing and setup, this thing is an absolutely great guitar. If it was actually TV Yellow instead of Taxi Yellow, I don't think I could make it live as a bench tester. It really is more Taxi yellow than the picture conveys, and damn it, this one has great tone without changing pickups (or even strings). After having called it Taxi yellow, I jokingly played Big Yellow Taxi on it, and got into it too much. Then I suddenly pictured it with a black and white checker board pick guard (playing off its Taxi yellow paint), and now I absolutely have to do that. This one's going into the stable instead of being a bench tester.
