Re: How about those market gains?!!

It's certainly good for the market and for retirement funds, but not really a great representation of the everyday economy. Most working/regular people will be feeling those effects for years. Not to mention that people are still getting sick and dying from the disease at a pretty alarming rate.

Re: Anybody know dearlpitts?

I don't know if they sold him a bill of goods or not, but as someone mentioned before there would have been risk associated for him to go the admins or the membership with a potential offer. If Tom had offered the forum to one of us, it (obviously) would have happened before any deal was struck wit...

Re: Anybody know dearlpitts?

Its sad because major tom was a solid competent admin until this takeover mess. Yes, it's sad - but also nothing we can do to change it. The new forum seems to be working well and a lot of our members have made it over. thanks to the work of many. I'm already looking at the whole thing in the rear ...

Re: Anybody know dearlpitts?

Do you guys think it sold for enough that they did not think an AGF member could, or would have purchased AGF? I doubt it. There are members here with significant purchasing power. My guess is that he was approached by MOMO and got sold a bill of goods. Even with the trainwreck we witnessed, Jae or...

So for those of you who have the 3P90 versions of these - I’m curious as to what positions 2 and 4 sound like. Is it like a Strat in that respect at all?

Also Noticed that shipping is substantially cheaper on Kurt’s Reverb listings than on the Rondo page. And only one of the LPBs left....hmmm

The liquid is one Rondo guitar I’ve never owned, this is not helping...especially with the scarcity of offerings and current deals.

Re: Kurt selling Agile brand?

He's been floating that idea for years I think, there was more than one thread on the old forum about it. It's certainly got some brand recognition over the flood of other knockoffs that have come out over the years.

Re: Buyers regret?

Just initiate a chat session in the lower right hand corner of the browser window where it says "need help?". Tell them what the guy said, they should be able to see the message too. Not sure if the chat is staffed this late at night but they usually respond very quickly. I would recommend...

Re: Buyers regret?

If the marks he's referring to were in the photos and he paid, it is his guitar. Reverb will back you up - I would open a case with them before it even gets there. Did he communicate his request to you via reverb messaging? Do ALL of your messaging with him via reverb, they can then see it.

Re: Hey! Look at my Gibson

This is my most recent Gibson but also the oldest one - a 1973 Deluxe. It is almost entirely stock except it's had the caps replaced, but everything else from the pots to the tuners is still original. It's got some mojo marks from being played but in very good shape for it's age. There is a bit of l...

Re: Good cheap tele pups?

I don't know if they are even in business anymore, but I had a set of Dragonfire pickups in a Douglas Tele and they were great - I think the Texas tele model or something like that? Very affordable too. You could always have Buddha tim make you a set too, everything he has made for me has been great...

Re: Hey! Look at my Gibson

As mentioned in my thread, I'm liking this forum more and more every time I log in...a forum just for Gibson is right up my alley. Here's one of mine and one of my favorites - a 1993 Studio with ebony board and stock P90's ( not P100's like the GEM series had ). This is one of 100 made. IMG_1718.JPG...

Not a pleasant topic, but looks like I'm heading to the Layoff line along with probably a lot of others where I work. 2012 flashback - first NGD post on AGF

This was my first NGD post back on OG AGF, which was a double. Don't have either of the guitars anymore but wish I did. So this is my virgin NGD post on AGF. I received yesterday a used but great condition Douglas TL-100 from Jaaxx in excellent condition. Packing and all were top notch. Maple Neck, ...
