Re: Whats your' latest gear acquisition?
Not exactly musical equipment, this ION ice auger will drill through 1000 inches of ice on one charge of the 36 v battery. It saves me the sore shoulder and arms from using my old manual ice auger. Drilling a couple dozen holes or more to find the fish through 12 to 16 inches of ice makes my arm sor...

Re: so who's buying GameStop, AMC and BlackBerry tomorrow morning?
I prefer silver. I have Silver Eagles and 90% silver half dollars. I bought a bunch in the early teens at 10 to 13 an oz, and rode it up to 52 oz. If I would have sold it then, I could have made a small fortune. I held on to it and rode it back down to the mid teens, and am now happily watching it a...

I was victorious on feebay back in '13 for a pair of M-Audio DSM 1 monitors. New list price was $550 ea. I won the pair for $112.50. It felt like I was stealing them from the seller. Recently one died. I could not find a DSM1 to replace the one that died, so I upgraded to a pair of DSM 2s. The diffe...

RIP Sean. He was one of my favorite actors. I just watched Hunt for Red October for the umpteenth time yesterday, and I still enjoy it. 2020 has not been a good year.

AL got my vote. This semi-custom AL 3xxx was bought in '13 and is one that gets some regular play time. I like it more than the Axcess in the pic and not just because of the extra couple frets. It's the sound and feel. https://i.imgur.com/EIwPI3gh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/vWawj09h.jpg https://i.imgur...

@belleswell Here, as at old AGF your pictures and vids are one of my favorite things to see. I appreciate all the information on how you did the Eagle picture I was thinking must be photo shopped to one degree or another. I am a huge fan of Bluegill going back to my fishing days. With all the Hybri...

So sad. His spirit and presence will remain with us. Condolences to family and friends.
The first time I heard Eruption, I threw my guitar in the corner and said, "I quit". lol It was epic
and I knew the rock world had changed in a good way.
RIP Ed

I watched a documentary last night about his questionable death, and the timing of leaving his money grubbing manager who was milking Jimi for everything he could before the contract expired. Jimi had met with another manager for a dinner party the night he died. When he left that party, that was th...

A couple from the old forum. This one goes back to early days on the old forum. https://soundcloud.com/belleswell/2012-so-far-to-go-1 This is another older one, but what impressed me the most, is the number of replies I received. I was humbled, and it built my confidence to post. I've always been ve...

Retired IBEW electrician. Been living the dream for four years. We both retired a few months apart, bought a beautiful country home in rural northern Mi. Start an account at Imgur.com. It's free. Then upload your pic there. Once uploaded you can choose whether you want to make it public or private. Public just means people can comment on them, sometimes rudely. I just upload my pics and keep them private where I can choose which ones I might want to ...

You always bring a smile to my face and I know the effort it takes to get this quality work. And BTW is that a scarlet tanager in the bokeh of the first bunny photo? Nope. It's a northern Cardinal. I'm blessed with a pond right next to our home and most of my wildlife shots are taken from inside my...
