Re: After all this time I randomly check back in and...
I forgot my password over a year ago. Tried a number of different ways to log on and finally gave up. Tried "forgot password" link and never would get the email. Password came to me today out of the blue. Yeah, I think there may be some bugs lingering around here that are finally getting ...

Re: After all this time I randomly check back in and...
I have not been able to log-on here since the switch over and @tobijohn notified me of the new site. Today I randomly check, after having given up, and it works. Weird. I'm back now, I think. Well, welcome back is not exactly appropriated, I suppose, so, welcome finally! Get to know the "new&q...

I've often wondered about that era of Gibson amps. Congrats man, that's cool!

Re: Can you play guitar when you´re sad (or mad)?
I play through being "out of the mood." It usually only takes 10-15 minutes of playing while watching TV or something and then I'm in the mood. I do take breaks for a week or two every now and again.

Kendrick 2410 (hardwired Bassman clone)
Great amp and the tones on tap are phenomenal. I've been playing it for a couple of weeks now and with pedals you can literally play just about anything through this amp well. Kendrick does some nice things in this amp: using nos original speaker cones from the original supplier to Fender, offset pl...

Re: The Tone Hunt Narrows
Mine has me with a 50's Standard Les Paul, Original Series, and a Kendrick 2410. Still sorting pedals out but right now I'm running into a Keeley Comressor+, into a Tumnus Deluxe into a Slo reverb. Sounds really nice but I still need to play with the Tumnus...I just bought it yesterday so there's so...

Re: Incoming Kendrick 2410 Bassman
The amp arrived yesterday and after a quick run up to Home Depot for a fuse, she sounds amazing. My amp is signed and dated by Gerald Weber, the founder/owner, which is kind of cool I guess. It's still early so in an attempt to not give a honeymoon review, I will digress. I've only played to normal ...

I will have to make sure to do a review since they are so scarcely known. I've owned a Fender '59 LTD reissue Bassman so itll be interesting.

Incoming Kendrick 2410 Bassman
I've been looking for my new amp for a while now and have sorted through more than a few in the last couple of months. Last night I came across the Kendrick 2410. All point to point wiring and a cabinet made from 100 year old wood. Nice! Anyone around here have a Kendrick amp?

Re: Slick 57 S type
@CyFan , do you have any pics of the one you received? Are the fretboards really that reddish? I really like the SL51 Tele version of this, same color as yours. If the fretboard is brown rosewood, I might go for that. If it's the reddish, I might go for the maple board. Not like I really need anoth...

Gorgeous guitar @toomanycats! After reading your review I decided to scratch my Les Paul itch last night and ordered one. I hope mine is as good as yours!

Slick 57 S type
I bought one of these as just a kick around guitar not expecting much in build execution but I loved the specs. Here's the kicker, it plays REALLY well and sounds REALLY good. The fretwork is very good and even with no tool marks nor sharp fret ends. The pups sound great, a little hotter than what I...
