Now here's an AL-3200mcc in a color you don't see every day, I don't even know what it's called. It's not oceanburst is it? Lizard burst? Nice color. A bit pricey esp for GC used at 599. This is one is kinda right by me in Birmingham. Used Agile AL-3200MCC Solid Body Electric Guitar https://www.guit...

Re: Whats your' latest gear acquisition?

I've been looking for a natural ash tele but with binding, and I don't want a thinline. I haven't found one yet. I'm kinda trying to find a G&L since I love my G&L strat neck (sold all my fender strats and teles), and played a friend's G&L tele and sure enough it had a nice neck. I saw t...

Nice color, kinda reminds me of the Gibby GEMs. Pawn shop finds are rarer and rarer, for me I quit looking - everything I've found in pawn shops for years now has been junk.

Congrats on the score!

It was a nice option when I had them built. Are there situations where you'd covert it to open?

Thanks to everyone that provided feedback, appreciate your time to provide such articulate responses. I listened to all of your inputs and you are right and you changed my mind, I kinda liked the closed back marshall better. Except for the #2 vid it seemed to not win, but I wonder if I didnn't do a ...

Marshall/Orange/Peavey 2x12 Guitar Cabinet Shootout

Hey folks.... let's have some fun and then some opinions! (never a shortage of THAT!) I am always looking for things purple. Not only guitars, but amps & cabinets too! I had been looking for a basic small cabinet in purple without paying an arm and a leg. I came across a cab builder, SourMash, a...

Re: Bunch of nice ALs at GC Used

Think that purple one might potentially be a semi-custom order, guessing the inlays are stickers. https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Agile/3100-SINGLECUT-Solid-Body-Electric-Guitar-118159835.gc Yea I saw that one, I guess they'd be stickers over dots? I don't think Rondo ever did inlays like that, n...

I've had several Fireflys, great guitars for the $. Did you get a trans blue or blueberry burst V? You must have gotten the last one. Thought about them, the purples sell fast. Yes Guitars Garden is the Firefly store. They also sell on Amazon and ebay, for example the cases weren't avail on GG. We w...

I’m a huge EBMM fan, and most of the players of their signature guitars, I don’t know who they are either!

Now there are some very notable exceptions, namely Lukather and Morse.

Re: Chunky chords

Didn't know they called it chunky chords. Use of open strings just makes any chord resonate more. I was learning a Steve Vai Whitesnake song the other day and he used a lot of open stings in his chords, sounds really nice.
