Re: Congrats To Flatline. AGF Fantasy Football Champ!

Woot Woot!

Ceedee Lamb and Tyreek Hill basically carried my team all season.

Good season!

A thanks to all that participated and a big thank you to @Lamf77 for running things every year.

I plan to use some epoxy and clamps after sanding each seam for flatness. I've seen/read where others used superglue. I'm not nearly that brave.

Re: Something a little different... build in progress

Can you print a clear pickguard? that deserves a clear pickguard! :D That is a great suggestion. I hadn't thought of that. Thanks! I was going to start with printing this in black. Screenshot 2023-11-30 at 1.31.02 PM.png I'll probably order a clear one and print one and then compare which looks best.

Re: Something a little different... build in progress

Not too bad. Wondering how smooth it is or did you sand it for the pictures? I haven't done any clean up or post processing after the prints finished other than pulling any supports off of each part. They're pretty smooth overall. There are some rough parts where supports attached to the price that...

Re: Something a little different... build in progress

How much filament costs do you figure? Each piece of the body is roughly 400g of filament. So 2400g-ish total. So that's about 2.5 rolls. I'm using Inland PLA+ from Microcenter that I've gotten on sale for about $15/roll. So once I'm done, I'll have about $50 in filament after I print the pickguard...

Re: Something a little different... build in progress

How much do you figure the completed body will weigh? I'm estimating about 5lbs. So it'll be a little on the heavy side. Flatline Wow! I SO love this, and I love 3D printers - what you can do with them, I mean -! Looking forward to your progress! Be sure that the neck is stable, though... :) I prin...

Something a little different... build in progress

I haven't been playing much for the last several months. Life gets in the way and and guitar often takes a back seat, but always finds a way to cycle back in. A few months ago I picked up an inexpensive 3D printer and have been tinkering with it and printing odds and ends. My wife works at one of th...

Now it's back down to $8. Yo-yo pricing....

If this thing arrives and is usable, I have enough spare parts to throw something together.

$7 strat neck?? black matte with rosewood board - Amazon

Worst case scenario, it can be returned. Best case, you get a playable neck for less than the cost of a McDonald's meal.

Re: Questions on new Epiphone SG's

I have an epi SG that I bought new in 2013. It is one of my go to players. SG is probably my favorite style of guitar. Light and comfortable to play sitting. A wide leather backed strap will take care of neck dive while standing. Mine has a pretty fat neck compared to my strats and teles. More of a ...

It is almost 2023 and I'm sure many of you have gone through several pedals. So, how did you end up? I've been bouncing between my Spark Mini and my Vox MV50 Clean and pedal board. Here's the current state of my board. Capture.JPG Overall, I'm pretty happy with it, and I've made several changes over...

At $449.00 there no chance it'll take over the Spark 40 or Spark Mini which can be had new for half that or less. I really like my Spark mini. It is more than adequate for home practice and jamming.

Just wait until he shows up at your house to thank you and then to your place of employment. They really want to make sure you are thanked for your purchase.
