Re: 3100 and 3200 neck size at 1st fret

I have a 2016 3100MC and a 2020 3100MCC but no 3200. My 3100MC 1st fret thickness is .84" or 21.4mm. My 3100MCC 1st fret thickness is .85" or 21.7mm.

I hope this helps.

@BrianSkeezer the blue guitar man! Look at those beauties! thanks for chiming in brother, and your longtime support. How inebriated did you have to be when you bought that red guitar on reverb? or was it just bad pics ?  No inebriation needed! That Schecter is awesome! I actually liked t...

Hey, Brad! That was me! I'm still here, I just don't post as much as I did at one time. This milestone is a testament to how awesome your products are. It's an honor to have some of your straps, and I'm a believer in having the Pro-Pins on all my guitars. Thank you for everything, brother Brad! I'll...

Re: NGD - Color Shift!

Nice! I have one also. I also didn't pay full price, but didn't get quite the deal you got. Mine does have the chrome bridge like you mentioned, and also has the push/pull coil splits one both the volume (for neck pup) and tone (for bridge pup). I have the same thoughts on how well it plays. The one...

Re: GFS Tele Guitars

I have a Slick SL51. The neck is slim front to back, but similar to my SX Liquid for nut width. I measure 42mm or 1.65" nut width, and 21mm or .82" thickness at the 1st fret, 21.6mm or .85" thickness at the 12th fret.

Re: IVY IP-300-TSB

I got the IYV SG with the Vibrola. Nice guitars. Trying to remember if I have another? Love that purple offset. Are those Firebird pickups? The "IVY" came from Amazon mislabeling them. The first IYV I bought was the SG style without the vibrola. My son wanted an SG, and the price was righ...

Re: IVY IP-300-TSB

I have a few IYV guitars. They're a Korean company making guitars in Vietnam. IYV stands for Inyen Vina. If you're ok with minor flaws (which I am), they're a great value. I think Agile had a few ALs made by Inyen in the late 2010s. Wolf and AIO were made by them (they may still be, but I think the...

Re: Whats on your work bench?

i recently put an old set of giovanni-gvh-2 (8.0/8.8, heavy formvar wire) in an sx callisto CUS tribal/2T-sunburst before offering to sell it to a friend's son who needs an inexpensive guitar to keep at home when he visits from his new location. Anyhow, this sx CUS is heavier than another SX CUS Go...

Re: Whats on your work bench?

quick question: has anybody ever had a knob that moved too freely causing a problem? on my hss strat the volume knob moves very easily.. and it's an american elite so it has the rubber ring around it so it's extra grippy... and i find that when im playing i must like lightly tap it, becuase i neve ...

Re: Anybody have experience with pedal drum machines?

I like using the Digitech Trio or Trio+. It kinda learns the beat from you, and works well if you play a basic bass rhythm to set it up. It'll give you a few beats to choose from and will even play bass with you. If you can find one fairly cheap, you can mute the bass parts and just use the drums so...

Re: Any Spark amp users out there?

No Mini, but I have the Spark 40 also. I enjoy it as a practice amp. The only complaint that I have is that on the knob "amp" presets, you can't save the eq to how you want it. So if you roll the knobs and like the way the eq is on the "Clean" preset, then switch to the "Cru...

Re: Portable Modelers. Waddya got?

I'm still liking my PodGO and would recommend it for a semi-simple modeler. I'm sure you already know this, but if you happen to play around on one, don't judge it by the presets. You really need to get into making patches on it to have it sound good. Also, upload some good IRs into it for direct to...

Has the shipping gone up a LOT, or is it me? I almost bought from HB a few times but didnt, I dont recall why. I know they get mostly good reviews here. Anyone have experience with their set neck Vee types? I like this one: https://www.thomann.de/intl/harley_benton_victory_plus_bk_vintage_series.ht...

Re: Trio + owners : Query

Mine doesn't get the play it deserves either. I use it as a songwriting tool, and haven't had much time for that. I also mainly use a Spark amp for most of my playing lately, which doesn't work very well with the Trio because of the modeling. That being said, I still enjoy it and it's the easiest go...

I bought the Slick SL51 in aged Ocean Turquois after CyFan here got a Strat style. https://aguitarforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2496 I didn't do a NGD post, but like his experience, I didn't have to do too much. In fact, I don't think I've even changed the strings on it yet. The only issue I ha...
