I noticed a week or two ago they went on a crazy sale for like $250 or some stupid cheap price. I was tempted. But honestly, I kinda just wanted to buy it to rip the guts out and use that sweet looking bag to rehouse something else. That doesn't speak highly of the amp...

I also did not love the Blues King. It looks so killer. I really wanted to love it. The cleans were fine but the drive was not great. I only spent maybe 20 minutes with it in a store with none of my own stuff to play with, but I was pretty uninspired...

I thought about a SE Silver Sky ever since I started seeing the prelaunch ads for it. Now it seems everybody and their brother on YouTube are doing videos about it with all of the ones I've watched very positive, I thought it was time to check details as to when they would be available this morning...

How do you like the strat? Everybody raves about the classic vibe teles, but I hear a lot less about the strats. What's your opinion?

In a neatly coordinated event, every guitar channel on YouTube now has Silver Sky SE demos. They all dumped yesterday. I’m not trying to wade into any deep debate, but I think it sounds good. Shame I don’t much like the finishes.

I think the street price is $899, but that might be rumor. Curious to see these in the wild. I've loved almost all the PRS SE guitars I've played.

If you have the means, I can't recommend it enough. For home playing and recording, it's exactly what I want.
