Re: NOTD

My wife got hers and I was impressed with hers and ended up purchasing one. We both got a '23 Hybrid Lariat model. She didn't get the one she ordered as that is just hitting production now. She was able to get one locally in November at MRSP.. I was lucky to get one at MRSP as well a month later. Mi...

Re: NOTD

FORD pushed ours to the 2024 and we're not happy. They removed the securicode keypad on the '24. That's one features my wife wanted. The '23 should work on the '24 so I can always add it later on.

Re: Whats on your work bench?

Started another pedal.. I'm actually done, but haven't taken a picture of the finish product. It's a clone of the Lizzard Queen. I really like it and has moved into second place of my favorite pedal. My favorite pedal is the Klon clone. PCB from PedalPCB. Had Taydaelectronics UV the enclosure https:...

Local Porters or Stouts. If I was to pick one, it would be the Seadog Hazelnut Stout that I tried for the first time a few months back when I was home. When I lived in Texas back in the early 90's my favorite was Shiner Bock. Before Yuenling was able to be purchased again here in MA, it was my secon...

When I post an ad on either Facebook or Craiglist I always put. -I will not respond to low ball offers or you telling me that you seen it lower elsewhere. If that was true you wouldn't be wasting my time and you would have bought it already. I did see a Reverb listing from a guy trying to sell a us...

Rumor is that Gibson going increase their prices again in March'ish.

Never thought my guitars as an investment, but now I'm thinking of not passing them down to my children. :)

My Bronco has arrived at the dealer for final prep. Really wish I could have gotten it earlier in the summer when interest when the interest rates on new vehicles were points lower. Hard to believe I had a better rate on a used motorcycle 8 years ago by at least 2% than the very best rates I am see...

Re: NGD - Something snow white for winter

The wife went out early this morning and did her annual black Friday shopping. Once she returned she wanted to go back out a little later in the day to get some things she forgot and missed. I agreed to go if we could stop by the local music shop. So, we stopped in and made a lap through the store....

In the process of building a 3 channel snake x2 (XLR to RJ45). The wiring should be here today. Got my cable and some parts from https://www.redco.com/ It probably was cheaper if I went this route https://www.parts-express.com/promo/talent-k9-audio-snakes?_kx=YU15eXqqlcnrzeFqmpNoKB4Xv-lPMV4gc02v9k19...

Not a huge fan of MC, they lost me after Dr. Feelgood. I agree that he doesn't get recognized as much as should. He should be part of the greatest guitarist conversations.

It's tough everywhere these days. I had my car in for service and the dealership had two -- yes two! -- cars in the showroom. The rest was filled with snow tires. They keep sending me notes saying that they want to buy my car, but never suggest what I would replace it with. Surprisingly, I think th...

A lot of sling shot effects is going to happen in a lot of businesses. Cash tied up in inventory and then they will have to sell to free up cash. All these fools who paid thousands over MSRP are going to wish they had just waited it out instead of needing the hot new thing... I still see crazy pric...

Any word on the progress? I just read that they are cancelling 2022 orders, but switching them over to 2023.

We are in "queue" for a 2023 hybrid, but whatever that means or even when we move onto production is anyone guess.

Wait. You missed the "Dealer Added Mark-up" rip-off? A salesman played us that tune stating that it was a tax that took vehicle scarcity into consideration. We took our business elsewhere. Yes... If you want one you're going have to play the game especially the Hybrid. I will pay a little...

Been eyeballing a Maverick as well. I've missed out on the Maverick orders and my local dealership had one come through this weekend, but I was out of town. They don't stay on the lot long.. I think it's like 4 days. Plus they are marking these up, but not as much as the Broncos.

I own a Gibson Gary Moore BFG signature, got when it was on "clearance". That's the only one, but would get the Adrian Smith or Dave Murray signature.
