I was thinking Megadeth-Good Mourning/Black Friday.
It makes more sense now, but I was eagerly waiting on the results.

Re: Opinion: The death of the amp
Well, I have a lot of thought on this subject. I've been using direct-tp-board gadgets and devices since the turn of the millenia. Still do. Love me some modelers. Currently making an album and been testing umpteen ways to record my guitars. And the fact is, without a proper acoustically good studi...

Re: A little tribute to the Foo Fighters
Oh man, don't think bad of us. I like me some Foo Fighters. Without crying my woes of Allstate and storm damage, I have been very negligent in the time and attention that I am able to give to the board or guitar in general. Don't worry, I switched insurance companies in October. I always try to list...

Sips seltzer. I already drank ALL the beer.
I always liked Mexican Pacifico, in Mexico from a bag of ice watching the sunset on a beach after a day of SCUBA. Sounds like a commercial, buf it really happened, more than ten times.

Re: New job possibility
I am going to try to relearn Spanish now I have been using Duolingo for Turkish and I'm pretty impressed. Going the all free route and I end up remediating as much as working on lessons. I can muddle through a little Spanish but my most useful phrase was "donde dolor." Let's hope you don'...

Re: Help needed getting into New York
I haven't lived in NYC for over 20 years, but you might want to look at parking in NJ and taking the PATH train. See where it converges with the subway and take that closer to your theater. We go to as much theater as we can and I always bring a spare bandana, last weekend Mrs10T found that masks ar...

I am a heathen but still refer to that as God's ratio. We've got two ears and one mouth, we should use them proportionately.
And congratulations honyock.
I'll shut up now.

Agree with mighty_duck, but I would also consider taking it to your local guitar tech or someone who has direct experience with guitar wiring. Also might want to say your general location and there may be people here who can point you towards people.

Re: 1970's Muscle cars?
Not exactly muscle car, but at least muscle-car adjacent: there's a 1971 Buick Riviera in my neighborhood. I admire it every time I pass it, but I don't know that I'd want to have to park it in the city. Maybe if I had a country house and some open roads... I like almost any year Riviera, probably ...

Re: Played a nice gig last night (Mosfite)
The venue is currently the ONLY rock bar in my town. It's so hard to find places to play these days you don't have to pay to play in. We didn't get paid but we got a few cases of beer and a couple of bottles of hard liquor as payment. That's the way it is these days. Sent from my SM-A125F using Tap...

Re: Agile AD3200 or Ibanez AR325?
Ibanez... No contest. Fast, quick and simple! Haha. Another thing to consider: the Agile will be available in january 2022 - so says Kurt -. The Ibanez is already availabe at Sweetwater - 4 units to choose from! -, and at $13/month (48 moths credit), the Ibanez it´s a little hard to resist, then. I...

I liked it a lot and it sounded tight to me. I'd go to a show if you were considerably closer.
I know you like your V's but you remind me of a calm James Hatfield, therefore I've decided that you need an Explorer.
Joking aside, it was worth the price of admission.

Re: Bass practice?
I am not a bassist, but I have a bass and for me I put myself in a different mindset. So translating that into id10t think. I think of a guitar as a small arms rifle laying down cover fire and bass as either a Barrett 50 cal sniping or Artillary softening the target, depending on what is being playe...

Re: Looking for an Inexpensive 335/Archtop Case?
Ibanez has made some interesting stuff over the years. I just recently stumbled over the AR2000 model which ws only around for a handful of years in the late 90s/early 00s: You can't play that, unless the picture flipped? It is no secret that I'm an Ibanez fanboy, even thinking about getting someth...

At least they didn't catch you doing anything illegal, immoral or fattening! At 63 pretty much everything I do is fattening ! There should be an app for pants-size swaps. I don't want to turn this thread into another lefty grousing rant, but I don't understand why Kurt can't make available some non-standard finishes for left-handed players. I could see why he wouldn't t if there was a sizable minimum order and so didn't want to get stuck with them in inventory indef...
