Congrats! I've been with the wife since high school, 18 years together and married for the past 13 years. Time flies.

Re: Saharan Dust

Just hit us here in TX last night. The extra heat is caused by the greenhouse effect, the dust being a form of pollution and is keeping the humidity around. It's gross outside for sure.

Re: Whats your' latest gear acquisition?

Swapped my '04 52ri for a '19 AO 50s Telecaster. That vintage radius didn't agree with me the last couple of years. This AO model with the 9.5" radius and bigger frets is fantastic.

NPD - Axe Series guitar picks

I picked up a multipack of these and really like them. I have a tendency to let my pick shift in my hand a lot when I play, and these are made so you can rotate and play using all three edges so it's no big deal, plus you could wear down all three edges before needing to throw it out. The hole in th...

Re: AGF.net Sign-In

So having to re-login every time continues, and it's getting really frustrating. This will be a deterrent to my more frequent visits. Reading the posts above I think I figured out something. I don't use bookmarks, I use an RSS reader (and thans for enabling that). What I figured out was, AGF thread...

Re: PRS SE General Observations

I've owned close to a dozen SEs, all Korea World Music, and they were all great. Slap on some mini Grover locking tuners and nothing else was needed. I had a SE245, an older flat top custom 24 with McCarty switching, a newer custom 24 with blade switching, a bunch more but the best of the bunch was ...

Re: So whats open and what not

Went out to dinner with the family tonight and it was great (Lupe Tortilla, if any of you are in or near TX). Have tickets to see Back to the Future at a local theater tomorrow. Nice to get back to normal, even better when you don't have to wait for a table.

Anybody know dearlpitts?

He hasn't appeared to have received the info on the new site. I saw someone tried posting in the Major Tom thread in reply to him but the post has been deleted. dearlpitts thinks this is the end of the line for AGF, and that just isn't the case. Can anyone get ahold of him outside the old AGF?

Flatline wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2020 1:48 pm How much does it weigh? I've seen a few comments that these can be somewhat heavy, but then I've seen a few reviews that mention they're unusually light....so I don't know what to think.

These Fusion-II are on my short list for next guitar to acquire.

Re: NGD - Harley Benton Fusion II Pro Series

I don't know how they sell these for as cheap as they do, but man is it nice. Everything functions like you'd expect on a high $$$ guitar. The trem is nice, locking tuners have no issues. The stainless steel frets were perfectly dressed, no sharp fret ends. The roasted maple neck has some great fig...

Re: Spark - Positive Grid

I have had one for about 6 weeks now, currently the only amp I am using since everything else is packed up for our move this summer. It is a great practice amp that does everything I would want for just fucking around when I have a couple of minutes. The stock sound tweaking on the cab itself is goo...

I'm really hoping it quenches the thirst of a Suhr I've had for the past few years. Having to have the talk with the wife about another mystery $2k+ purchase never ends well.

I have this on the way - Harley Benton Fusion II. Locking tuners, roasted maple neck, stainless steel frets, Wilkinson bridge. I have a set of Fishman Fluence Modern pickups ready to go.

I believe those started at $1k when they originally went up for sale, and had the best parts they could put on an AL. Looks like the pickup rings were added, don't remember them on the website photos.

I have the original, full size version. I like it a lot, just as much as the Helix I used to have. Great sounds at 1/3 of the Helix price.
