Re: Hey! Look at my Gibson
This is my most recent Gibson but also the oldest one - a 1973 Deluxe. It is almost entirely stock except it's had the caps replaced, but everything else from the pots to the tuners is still original. It's got some mojo marks from being played but in very good shape for it's age. There is a bit of l...

Re: Good cheap tele pups?
I don't know if they are even in business anymore, but I had a set of Dragonfire pickups in a Douglas Tele and they were great - I think the Texas tele model or something like that? Very affordable too. You could always have Buddha tim make you a set too, everything he has made for me has been great...

Re: Hey! Look at my Gibson
As mentioned in my thread, I'm liking this forum more and more every time I log in...a forum just for Gibson is right up my alley. Here's one of mine and one of my favorites - a 1993 Studio with ebony board and stock P90's ( not P100's like the GEM series had ). This is one of 100 made. IMG_1718.JPG...

Re: Layoff thread
I'm with you, laid off a couple months ago -. Part of the deal was I was enrolled in and supposed to pass about 180 hours of auto sales training. If you have ever seen an auto-sales training vid, they are much like any other sales training vid, but with a presenter who seems to be massively dosed w...

Layoff thread
Not a pleasant topic, but looks like I'm heading to the Layoff line along with probably a lot of others where I work. Already actively seeking other employment as I knew this was possible/probably but it kicks you in the teeth when it actually happens. Had over 20 years of service too. I understand ...

2012 flashback - first NGD post on AGF
This was my first NGD post back on OG AGF, which was a double. Don't have either of the guitars anymore but wish I did. So this is my virgin NGD post on AGF. I received yesterday a used but great condition Douglas TL-100 from Jaaxx in excellent condition. Packing and all were top notch. Maple Neck, ...
