There are over 500 of his pedals currently for sale on reverb if he’s not answering the phone.

Amazing work, I stumbled across that the other night too.

So did someone else :-)

Re: AL-3500 zebrawood at GC

Man that is a beauty. Are you gonna grab it! The one thing that holds me back on all all of the older Al 3XXX guitars is the 1 5/8 nut. I know it's kind of silly but I prefer the 1 11/16 or wide 1 3/4 nut on the later ones. I don't currenly own any agiles ( or any Rondo guitars for that matter ) bu...

Re: Guitar Build from a Shelf

I saw that the other day. My initial thought was who has 2" thick shelves made of solid sapele just sitting around their house? The shaping of the top is something I would certainly lose my mind on somewhere along the way.

AL-3500 zebrawood at GC

Here’s one you don’t see often. 3500 series was basically a 3xxx spec but with a full thickness cap ( no veneer ) for those unfamiliar. And they had a run with zebrawood instead of maple https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Agile/3500-Solid-Body-Electric-Guitar.gc Here’s the rondo spec https://www.rond...

Re: NGD AL 3200MCC

It's mine, and while it wasn't a big seller, for folks like me who rarely if ever go above the 12th fret, it's really nice! Oh yeah, it has a volute too! They called it an AL3000 Neck Thru. I think Kurt did a small run of 2 or 4, and after they took so long to sell, never did it again. But I'm sure...

Re: Best Agile On The Horizon?

I still call that his dark red wash back. Bummer Agree, but I do like it better than the matched color backs. And it is a step in the right direction. I am kicking myself for not ordering one of those 3010SE "custom select" offerings they had for a while. Those were the ones that had some...

I like this thread, there are a lot of very talented people here. He passed away almost 50 y...

Very cool, NNGD! I didn't realize any of these had a satin finish, I like that. The neck volute is not something I remember seeing on 3200's before either,do all of them have that now?

Re: Stock market thread

You don't have to use equity funds for 100% if you are worried about market risk. You can choose among a menu of funds provided within the plan...some money market, some fixed income (bonds) and some equity (stocks). Yes, I saw there is quite an array of funds for each provider. By default you get ...

As part of my layoff i'm getting a pretty decent lump sum for accrued vacation/leave and have the option of putting it into a pre-tax 403b plan ( like a 401K but for gov't folks ) with a choice of several fund companies ( T.Rowe Price, TIAA-Cref and Fidelity ). The one caveat is that I cannot contin...

... For those that have maple neck versions - is it a pretty heavy/glossy finish like a typical Fender/Squier? I"m also assuming the rosewood is not coated, but assuming is not always a good idea. Yup. Clear poly all over, except for the frets. You are referring to Maple I"m assuming? The...

I noticed he actually posted several AL-3200s, some 3100's and that 1900 yesterday, must have gotten a small shipment early. Most of the ones that are in stock now were listed as pre-order with an anticipated arival date of July 1.

The AGF board on MOMO is now public which I guess means that you can theoretically add it to your list of boards. However, when i click on the "Join" icon for it, nothing happens, it had been locked prior to that but you could still see your own threads going back to March 2014 and others...

Even though it's now public, while I am able to log into the MOMO board, I am unable to join the AGF "board" or any of the former sub-forums that are now independent boards (and not all of them survived the migration) but can, by way of an incredibly convoluted process, bring up individua...
