It has been a long time since I bought any gear, and I've also been somewhat vacant from AGF due to work, kids going to college, travel, etc. Having said that, we moved my daughter off to college last weekend, and she just so happens to be going to school at the university in my hometown alma mater....

Damn that has some ridiculous flame. I can remember days of trolling through the Warmoth guitar neck online catalog drooling over necks that looked like that - but at probably 5 times the price just for the neck.

That looks like a great place to be. Our version of that is the lakes and rivers up in the northern part of the state, but we are also subject to the influx of tourism and all that comes along with it. Sounds about right While SX has always been a fantastic value, Rondo was never known for their exact inventory management unfortunately Hope you get the one you want.

Looking good, I love the grain/color variation on the top. I understand most people prefer a well matched/consistent top and that's why all the a-stock guitars get them...but I'd much rather have something with personality like that.

This is a bummer but not really surprising TBH - not many big retailers left out there in any industry. They were definitely one of the better ones to deal with though, and they also had a pretty decent ( and not as well known ) used selection.
