Re: My first Yamaha.
I do think it's a good guitar and great specs but didn't bond with it. I sent it back and bought a mexican strat that I love. Maple neck and tobacco sunburst. Then I bought a Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder.

Re: My first Yamaha.
It's going back. I really like the neck but that's about it. Got a strat instead. ๐ Just curious, what did you not like ? I didn't care for the pick ups and it wouldn't stay in tune. The nut wasn't cut right and honestly I didn't feel like messing with it. I returned it and got a fender player seri...

Re: Katana mkii 100 1x12
Ordered yesterday and should arrive tomorrow. I mostly have questions about how you access your tone studio. Will a tablet work or should I get a labtop? What specifically should I look for in a tablet? Does it need usb, how good of resolution, does tone studio run on all operating systems (ios,win...

Re: Katana mkii 100 1x12
HappyNewIncomingAmpTomorrowDay. As far as I know the full Tone Studio app is only available for Windows or Mac desktop OS. Some of the other Boss devices have bluetooth/mobile compatibility but I don't think the Katana's do. Granted I have a V1/1st gen Katana 50, but on their current downloads page...

Re: NGD: 2020 Gibson Les Paul Standard 1950s
That's a gorgeous guitar. My favorite LP finish. I've owned 4 or 5 Gibson Les Pauls. They were great guitars. They are beautiful and expensive. I was almost afraid to play them. Sounds silly but true. Play the hell outta that thing. Congratulations!

Re: My first Yamaha.
Wow! Thatโs a beauty to look at, and I love the feel of them too. The sound is a little meh to me, but thatโs probably just the stock pickups and the fact that the only one I have access to is in a house where one spouse thinks itโs unreasonable for me to play through the perfectly good 50W JCM 800...
