Re: what tv shows everyone into right now

Haven't watched TV in 27 years. Local weather that's it. Hate youtube unless it's showing me how to change a headlight bulb without taking the front bumper off. Wife has CSI, NCIS, crime dramas on as long as she is awake. Ditto! Same here! :D Except I would add my late wife did that before she died.

Re: ShortWave Radio

It's complicated, and as you say, likely manipulative. I try to listen to news from all over to get a better basis for identifying the actual truth of matters. That's more than most people have time for. I also think it's only a healthy habit for critical thinkers, not quite everyone. Still, multip...

Re: One country song?

You Never Even Called Me by My Name was written by John Prine and Steve Goodman. John is my favorite songwriter of all time. One of my life's regrets is not seeing John live. I wrote a tribute song to him when he passed and I play it out all the time. Well, I guess if I have to name of my favorite ...

Tommy, since you started this with a David Allen Coe song, are you familiar with this one? I think it is my favorite David Allen Coe tune.

Actually, I believe she would outlaw all electric guitars if she could unless they run by either solar or wind power.

About 250 feet of chain link fence missing!!!!

A drunk young lady driving a 2004 Corolla took out about 250 feet of my chain link fence this afternoon.
She is sitting in the County Jail at the moment, alcohol & gas don't mix.
Good thing the Highway Patrol gave me a printout of their accident report. Guess I'm in good hands with Allstate??? :D
