A friend back in the late sixties had a beat to death 600, non-Abarth of course. Even it was a lot of fun!Rollin Hand wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 6:34 pm I want to buy a "toy" car, and every once in a while I think a modern 500 Abarth would be a great way to go, if I fit. Re: David Crosby Dead
It is sad Tim, and unfortunately in the near future we are going to lose many more of our music heroes that generated the tunes we grew up with in the 60's and 70's. They are all getting up there in the years and most have high mileage. Last night I watched a video of him doing Almost Cut My Hair. ...

The key question for me would be whether most of the problems primarily originated from the old GM, or whether they are of a higher level and scope, in which case they will eventually overcome the new guy too. Were there big leadership changes *above* the GM, or did they just luck into getting someo...

A long time friend of my parents who was a one-man A/C company told me the only thing you can count on when you engage a company is "The work is only as good as the guy that gets out of the truck". The size or name recognition of the company means nothing in the end, they are still subject...

Willie is said to have written the following to her several years ago. It sounds quite authentic to Willie. As an aside, I believe they had, or will have, a service at the church mentioned. Dear Sister, Everyone calls you Bobbie, but only I get to call you Sister. I never loved you more than when we...

Nice writeup. I've never looked into them either, but since one of my favorite bands (The Cult) place their roots as squarely in punk, perhaps I should.
Edit - After giving a quick listen to the above track, it reminds me of the general gestalt of the MC5, which I loved at the time.

I believe eliminating the binding was an option, as I was looking at ordering one that way. I can't comment on the inlays.

She did a version of stairway to heaven didn't she? I never heard it and am not about to go searching for it to listen to it. d26-lq.jpg She did, and I thought it was quite good, very surprisingly. Celtic and bluegrass elements, but generally respectful of the original. Actually more interesting to...

Re: 1970's Muscle cars?
My best guess would be because the pony-cars in your comparison are probably small blocks. Big blocks carry a lot of nostalgia value, especially in an age of downsizing and coming electric vehicles. People who never had one see this as a last chance. Not as true for Vettes, though - Big blocks weren...
