Re: Every one is far too nice to each other around here.....

I could start a thread declaring SS amps suck or that Gibson guitars are at least 40% better than (pick an import), but I won't. I will say, since my falling out with Rondo over the custom order debacle, I have found it difficult at times to be civil when someone posts glowing reviews of Agiles or ...

Re: 2009 SX Calisto Joy

It was crazy back then. I think these were new only 129? Maybe 149? Maybe got it at 99 but I think the closeout was 89. I think I was buying my ash contoured tele about 169 or so and the jr was a closeout add on. Both impressive

Ad2300 for sale at gc $210

Kinda tempted but I'm just not a fan of the body shape.
I have my callisto Jr I really like. How does this feel and sound different?

Hey there. I realized you posted this a year ago, but I thought I’d chip in. Sorry guys, I’m not very active on the actual forum lol. I was the original buyer of this particular guitar. I know because of the quilt top and I received it October 5th 2023 when I bought it. So the timing makes sense. I...

Re: Should I sell my SX bass?

Looks nice. I've been playing the bass mostly now and enjoying my very light glarry. It even looks nice. But I love the black block maple and ash body look. But I'm worried I won't bother playing it if it's too heavy. If this was the nat ash p-j configuration I'd have to bite. With being so full up ...

It seems a Gotoh bridge is a popular upgrade for you. Are you buying them in bulk? :) . I'm pretty much doing this thread for me and you at this point 😆 Notice the custom poker chip from our very own awesome Ryan...not sure if he has posted recently or not though It probably feels that way sometime...

Which count, the ones we sold we wish we still had?

For me, 3 guitars, 1 bass.
Your total number of guitars you currently own.
Oh, 100 guitars and 85 basses.
Holy crapoly.

Re: Tried a PRS SE guitar! - A first for me.

But I tried it quickly; it wasn´t even plugged in. I just wanted to see how the upper fret access felt. First how it happened: I was doing some errands in the city - Caracas -, and was near a guitar store I used to visit centuries ago. Went there and - sad - it basically had the same electric guita...

I missed this but I have what must be an unbranded glarry pj bsss. Similar looking wood. Mine is lightweight ans sounds good. It could use a fretlevel at the higher frets. I have the action pretty nice but up around 17 some fret out. Very likable for $80

Re: Relic Job Done Right !

For the record, my favorite way to relic a guitar is to play the hell out of it. In my experience, when you play the sh*t out of a guitar, both as an instrument for serious practice and as a workman's tool used regularly on the job, components generally wear in this order: 1) Strings. 2) Pots &...
