Re: AL3200 in Wine Red

I had a 3200 back in the day before I discontinued doing business with Rondo. It was a heavy rascal. Yeah, ALs were known to be on the heavy side in the early days - or so they said in the forum back in the day -. Newer models are a little bit thinner and lighter, but I don´t know if there´s a noti...

Re: DC 580 CH

...I changed the knobs but it's stock other than that. The tuners may go, I'm undecided on how well they hold. It may just be my superhuman bends knocking it out. It played like a dream out of the box and I'm fine with the stock pickups. I love the 24 frets and edge mounted jack. This easily compare...

Re: PSA: Interesting Agile triple pickup AL/LP - $300 at GC

It could be a nice find for $100, but not much more than that post butchering. Upon further review, it definitely isn't worth the listing price. Whether it's worth only $100, I don't know. It would have to be physically inspected before that could be determined. I really like that finish, though...

I would chip in for that. There was so much info on the old site.
They might as well try to recover whatever they paid for AGF. The MOMO site is dead. As far as I can tell, the most recent post anywhere on the site was 8/12/23....

Ya gotta wonder what the momo guys thought once the dust had settled. Does that site still exist? Technically, yes. However, it's almost impossible to navigate, and the last post was 5/3/2021. Also, you have to go directly though the MOMO site, the redirect from the old site no longer works...

Re: PSA: Interesting Agile triple pickup AL/LP - $300 at GC

You've got a good eye there. Zooming in to the pictures, I also notice that the middle pickup ring has no screws (?!) and the pickguard looks like it's been filed down or cut away. Yeah, it looked like the screws on the middle pickup ring were missing but I thought it might just be the lighting. I ...

PSA: Interesting Agile triple pickup AL/LP - $300 at GC

I've never seen one like this before. Original headstock, three pickups, unusual CSB finish (tribal? Burl?). The middle pickup is different from the neck and bridge, and a brand I couldn't really find any info on. I'm wondering if it might have been added as the ring is a different color and has a p...

I've got an elaborate workout program that I have been committed to starting tomorrow for the last four years. Re: PSA: AD-2300 possible deal - auction ending soon

IMHO, that's still a pretty good deal. That guitar has to be at least thirteen years old, and adjusted for inflation would theoretically be listed around $385. Assuming Kurt would think that price point would work these days, and they were still in production...

One to keep an eye on if you have an interest in this model. It's at $135 with 3.5 hours to go at posting. Shipping charges are going to vary based on your location but Atlanta to south FL is showing $35: https://www.ebay.com/itm/325892069499?mkevt=1&plmtId=1110100101&mesgId=4001&mkpid=0...

The only mini HBs and Tri-sonics I have are already in guitars. But I suppose I could cut a couple more blanks without the pickup holes and you could finish those? I have 1/8" and 1/16" basswood veneered plywood and 1/8" walnut veneered panel. The clear one I'm experimenting with is ...

Nope. The lines and pickup mounting holes you see are for the pickups from a 1960's Conrad branded Teisco. They're P90 like, but slightly smaller. Somewhere between P90 and Burns pickups, closer to P90 sized but smaller in both directions, pictured here. Well, while you're at it, how about making o...

I'd be surprised if they were, the SJMs could be almost a decade older than the ones in the latest batch of three pickup lefty Liquids.
