...probably into a storage box at this point, maybe put it on my old Douglas body I got from Rondo that I had converted into a Nashville tele and have since left sitting without a neck. Same body as this one.douglas.JPG I was not a big fan of the reverse headstock either and swapped it with a membe...

FWIW, $150 in 1961 is the equivalent of $1578 today. And not to be a buzzkill but $150 worth of the S&P 500 in 1961 adjusted for inflation would be worth $7657 today...

It seems it went down sometime after 10am, I contacted Patrick a few hours later when I tried to log in, he contacted the hosting company immediately but they took their sweet time getting the issue resolved

Looks like a SX FURRIAN RN ALDER HH TBR . I have one, too, but with a maple fretboard! I've got the Hadean version in Antique White with a maple fretboard. I upgraded the wiring harness and swapped in a set of Schecter Super Rock pickups which have the same offset screw pattern as the Fender Extend...

Re: Tobi still buying?
I'm still tracking what's out there but have kind of been off the boil for a while. I've probably bought less than a dozen in the last couple years or so (the most recent was an Agile CSBF AS-1000 a couple months ago). Honesty though, there really hasn't been much that has blown my skirt up. This on...

Wow. On another forum, there are several Reverb sellers mad that I bought the UV flashlight to expose the repair. One reacted pretty violently as if I was the bad guy invading seller's privacy or something like that. I'm finding this fascinating, but in a bad way now. Did they explain what the logi...

I'm glad I got a 3 pickup sg from Thomann before they switched too Ah, the good old days. I have a V, Explorer, SG, a bound and a couple unbound LPs from back then, all with the Gibson body shapes (or close enough so that Gibson asked them to knock it off). I've also got a couple old semi-hollows t...
