Guitar Lessons, Tips, Techniques, Etc. Online on YouTube or elsewhere? Reading, charts, videos and whatnot.
I'm really no better of a guitar player now as I turn 44 than I was when I was 19 really. Intermediate as far as what sounds I can sometimes make, yet not even really that when I consider my limited understanding of music theory terminology etc as I play by feel and by ear and can't always explain t...

Re: New strings
I have a Taylor. Haven't had much experience with Martins. Taylors seem to be trebly in comparison. Seen others say as much too.

Re: NBD: Rickenbacker 4003W
A lot of Rickenbacker in my family. My Dad still has his sunburst 12 string Rick. I think he was influenced to get one by John Lennon.

Re: Hello. I'm new here, and you can call me Abe.
Thanks for the welcoming. Glad to be here. sabasgr68; I am a very improvisational type player with both rhythm and lead. Kinda jazz inclined even within the rocking out, tending to never really even be able to play the same thing the same way twice. I do not memorize and compose compositions very we...

Re: Abe's PRS SE Hollowbody II
Yea, I am quite happy with this guitar for sure. It's worth a lot to me that I was able to afford one that works out for me and responds to positive touch. ;) If I needed 7x the amount of money to have an electric guitar I'd be happy with that would be disappointing. So I'm happy to not be disappoin...

Hello. I'm new here, and you can call me Abe.
Hello. I'm new here, and I think I talked about my guitars and stuff but neglected to introduce myself. You can call me Abe here. I'm turning 44 this month and I recently got back into guitar playing. Trying to make progress. Been beating the crap out of my fingers lately playing as much as I can. I...

Re: Abe's Current Jam Rig
That is an AnaloMan Bi-Comprossor which is kinda like AnalogMan's remake clone of the old Ross Compressor pedals combined with the 'Juicer'.

Some old Live Jams w/ brothers and friend circa 1996-2002ish
This is a video my brother made with the audio of us 3 brothers and a friend jamming in 2001. We plan to do some new jamming at some point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4LR1uf8t2w And this SoundCloud page has some old Live Jams I was in with family and a friend some years ago. https://soundcloud...

Abe's Current Jam Rig
This is what I'm currently running through from right to left, then here at home it goes into Guitar Rig 7 on my desktop PC. Thinking of upgrading my looper to the Boss RC-600 soon so I can have memory after power down and other features. After quite a long hiatus I've been playing a couple hours pe...

Abe's Breedlove Organic Solo Pro Concert CE Nylon-string Acoustic
This is my Breedlove Organic Solo Pro Concert CE Nylon-string Acoustic. A decent guitar of the softer stringed variety. It is a little off on the intonation and isn't rectified as easily as with electric guitars, but it's still a nice guitar to have. https://i.postimg.cc/SK91j5ks/Breedlove.jpg https...

Abe's PRS SE Hollowbody II
Hello. This is what I currently play for an electric guitar which I just recently acquired. . A PRS SE Hollowbody II. I really like the feel and tonal response of this guitar. A score at this price range to me. After an intonation adjustment I find it to stay in tune wonderfully with accurate octave...
