Re: CSB Fade

You need to "scotch brite" it. I have done 4 guitars, 3 Agiles and an Epiphone, it makes the guitar look much better without the Plastic look of the poly. There is plenty of info out there in regards to the process, or hit me up here if you need to.

Re: Old headstock AL2500 DC

I have one and it's the best guitar I own out of 10. The bridge was replaced with a Fralin, but the neck Pu is only 8.5k and to my ears It's better than a couple "boutique" PU's I have in other guitars, I didn't like the orig. bridge PU at all, but love the stock neck PU. I replaced the br...

Re: Rondo looking a bit like old times (kinda)

They all still look nice, but I believe Kurt has put this brand to close to some other offerings from established Co.'s, with still only a small loyal following. I'm glad I bought mine when I did, will not be buying any more in the future. But the ones I did buy were the best value of any of the gui...

Re: AL-3200 VS. Epi 1959 LP Standard which one and why?

Get the Agile.... if new isn't an issue go used, but that's a huge worm hole and you my end up with multiple new guitars if your looking around to much..... damn GAS.

I previously owned an original 1966 Casino, always said if they brought out a new one in the iced tea I would bite. The Finish on the Riv is uncannily close....damn wasn't planning on a new guitar but I did promise.

Re: Does a shim affect value of an acoustic?

Electrics are one thing, with some tools and experience most players can learn to fix most issues. I have been repairing acoustics for a while now, and would say this design by Breedlove has surprised me, not something I want inside the body, I get the reasoning, but still don't want it. With a prop...

Re: Who says you gotta spend 2K...

I have had it for about 5 years. Been in the case as I don't gig anymore, but got all of my gear out to start a new album and plugged this in and.... end of story for the les pauls, they were both nice guitars, purchased recently, and pretty much all I used for practicing, but just didn't have the t...

Re: Agile 3100

Welcome Stoli, I have 3 Agile's as well as 5 other "big brand" guitars. The only two I would run into my burning house to retrieve are my modded AD-2500, and my 12 string Harm. My high end Gibson and fenders could be easily replaced, those two not so. Buy and play with confidence.

I feel a big part is total participation is way down. There are no shows , local or national acts, no shows, interest falls off.
