@mickey who DON'T you know? You! :D Seriously, I was trying to document the guitar's history for Brentona because it might prove useful to him some time in the future should he need to sell the guitar. FYI: I also knew Paul Yandell's brother Forrest. :D Hey there, Brother! I was ...

Re: The Wasteland
Slavo Ukraine ! images-1.jpeg Good playing. Thank you! I’ll be honest. The war in Ukraine and emotions therein are the inspiration Behind the veil. I sat down yesterday, warmed the fingers up for ten minutes and took that in one take. It just felt right. I have a template in my head with timing and...

Ambient Echorec/Sabbath style play-along
https://youtu.be/W6vLoGzLW0o Fitting ambient jam with current affairs. I recently got a looper pedal (Ditto+ Looper). I really don’t have experience using them but I’m definitely having fun. This is a play along in D. Tossed the loop together in a handful of minutes and this was my first take. “Amb...

Hey thanks! They’re a set of handwound phat pups greyback 62’s. The fella I bought the guitar had purchased and popped em in. One of the reasons I wanted this strat! They’re alive!Partscaster wrote:sounds good Brentona. What pickups are you sporting in that?

Friday Jams (1:40) Blues / Rock
I have more ideas of where I want this work in progress to go!
I’m playing my 91 MIJ 1962RI -> Freyette SAS -> Walrus Monument -> Dawner Prince Boonar -> Blackstar Artist 15 pumpin’ pretty well.

Short little play along. I’m just loving the tone I’m getting with my current set up.

That’s a good one to jam on!
I’m going to snag a Ditto+ Looper next month. That’ll make a big difference in jamming on these!

I was really pleased how the little lead portion of this turned out. I have been dabbling with Phrygian and have been enjoying tossing it into my playing. Adds a little tension that I have been really liking the sound of.

I am really glad I plugged that Freyette SAS in. It has given me some super dynamics with enough smooth grit!

Gm Play-Around (Tone journey)
Howdy all! I am really pleased with the sounds I am getting out of my gear of late. I made two solid acquisitions last year. I took a chance on a Blackstar Artist 15 without plugging into one. No “regerts”. I snagged a 1991 MIJ 1962RI as well. Both were 30y birthday presents to myself (born in ‘91)....

Re: Chasing Bliss
Loving this man, great stuff. I kept waiting for some slap back echo in some places. Kinda gave me Damage Inc. vibes only from part of the intro. But this is some sweet sounding stuff sir. Thanks Nash!! This pedal is going to be super influential to me. That sounds crazy, but these sounds I’ve alwa...

The Boonar came in and I plugged it in for a short moment today. We’re going to need some time on this baby because it’s going to be a great tool!

Howdy All - Lately I have been bitten with the urge to create sounscapes. Moods that music can fit into. And through this, my interest in an Echorec has again been awakened. So I have a Dawner Prince Boonar inbound and headed my way to lend a helping hand. Here is a little shorty of what I’m talking...

Re: The Tone Hunt Narrows
I've really been digging this new RotoChoir pedal I just bought used for 150$. Its of a discontinued model, but is very warm and versatile. I've never had a Leslie emulator pedal before, and now I am surprised at how many great hits used Leslie rotary speakers. Badge, Angel, Let It Loose, Let It Be...
