Re: Agile with Fishman Fluence Pups...

Did anyone also notice that the pictures are of two different guitars? Which one do I get?

Thank you, I put a laughable amount of thought into it.
And a lot of work as well. Quite brilliant, really. This should be our new standard method when trying to share a color.

Re: NGD Agile AL-3100MCC Gold P90 B Stock Tee Hee Hee

The one negative I can report: The guitar did not exude a new guitar smell when I unboxed it. The finish had already all cured out and off-gassed. NOTE TO YOU BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS: Formulate and market a spray for guitar cases that smells just like you just opened the case of a high-dollar lacquere...

And if you know me you know I took delivery at the office and then snuck it into the basement while my wife was down the street walking the dog. That makes it play so much sweeter.

NGD Agile AL-3100MCC Gold P90 B Stock Tee Hee Hee

Old Quick Draw grabbed this for $323.47 delivered. Quite the deal! Man, I really can't find the flaw. This thing is awesome. I'm planning no mods, it already has all premo parts. Superb set-up right out of the box. Thanks Kurt!

Re: The 5 types of guitars you should never buy

An Esquire is a cool guitar that makes you play within its limitations. I have THREE doublenecks, a stock 60's Danelectro, a heavily modified 60's Danelectro, and a super cool double bad ass Jerry Jones Longhorn doubleneck. But I agree, never buy a doubleneck, mainly because your bandmates will not...

Re: SX Liquid

I have a bevy of Liquids, five I think, and my favorite one happens to be the cheapest most basic one of the bunch. Basswood body, maple fretboard, 2 P90s, Jaguar style whangulator, pale yellow. It was a B stock, some cracks in the poly - snagged quickly for $59 I think. I like the light weight, the...

Re: (Don't Fear) TVvoodoo's Insanitarium

Congrats to your son, he's a powerhouse! I'm the middle of three generations of engineers in my family. I'm 41 years in and still like to work, most of the time at least. Those straps are awesome - you are a maniac! Really crankin' 'em out! I went back and downloaded all of my old posts - copy and p...

Re: Mosstone "Jaco Tribute" Fretless Bass

Awesome project and lots of good info here. I was jonesing for a fretless bass and I got weak and bought a super el-cheapo Rogue fretless that has no fret markers. I love it, but I'm lost on the fretboard. The side markers seem to be in the wrong place as well. I got a tuner and marked new side dots...

It wouldn't be the same place without you Bruce! :) Glad you finally made it. Been wondering whether I had ticked you off on the phone. :) [/quote] Thanks, Mickey. Not ticked off in any way, I consider you among my favorite forum friends. We've got a lot invested in this community. Too bad you don't...

Re: No love for the bottom?

Love the bottom, and I own several basses. My favorite bass right now is my Douglas Violin Bass with LaBella Flatwounds on it. Maybe tomorrow I'll photograph "The Space of Bass", which is the corner of my basement where the numerous oddball basses reside. One thing we have here in Nashvil...

Re: Spark - Positive Grid

Dammit man, I'm on the net forum the first hour and I'm $224 poorer. I ordered a Spark early today. I also bought and downloaded the Bias FX and Bias Amp Standard Combo ($109) VST software, and loaded them into my DAW. So far, MEH...I wish I'd demo'd them first, I don't think I would have bought the...

Re: A Request Regarding The .COM Site

Hey boys, Manodano is present and accounted for. I spent the last six days downloading all of my posts from the old site. It took a lot of hours. I plan to organize a "book" for posterity. We'll see, it totalled 297 pages of material. I really did not want to lose my work, I crafted a lot...
