Re: Arranger/Composer Challenge
https://soundcloud.com/kerrydbrown/lost-without-my-blues We have our first composition in, @Kerry Brown and it's greasy, nasty and makes me want to swagger-walk down the street with my headphones turned way up high. He says he ran out of time on the ending, I hope he finishes it up, and I think the...

Same with me. I've tried different browsers and different devices, Mac, PC, and iPad.

+1 for leave it stock. These are lean, mean rock machines and need to look the part.

Re: Show a Guitar U Played Today
I've mostly been playing acoustic stuff. Yesterday I decided to play electric. This is my Gibson three knob special. I played it through an old military PA amp converted for guitar through a Blackstar 1x12 cab with an Emminence P50E speaker. 2015-12-09 12.44.38.jpg 2017-05-17 16.57.45.jpg Wow. I wo...

Re: Show a Guitar U Played Today
It is a very nice guitar, my #1. It was made in 1991, ebony fret board, medium skinny neck, the pickups are stock. Gibson calls them '59 Les Paul Reissue. They are spectacular PAF style. I like them much better than most Specials which have 490's.

Re: Show a Guitar U Played Today
I'm working on an arrangement of What a Wonderful World to sing at open mic's if/when they start up again. I used to use this guitar a lot for open mic's. It's a Godin A12.

Re: Show a Guitar U Played Today
Before all the bars shut down I played in a bi-weekly bar jam. Two guys from the house band have done a couple of live streams from the bar. Last night I poured a beer, took out my Taylor GS Mini-e and played along with the live stream. Not as good as being there but it was enjoyable. The GS-mini is...

It’s been a long time since I have used this forum software. Hope this video shows up. I was testing a new microphone, an Apogee Mic+ into a MacBook Air.

Re: Hello from Squamish, BC, Canada
I’ve been to the shady tree, used to have family in Squamish :) I'll bet there aren't many people on this forum who can honestly say they have been to Squamish! Squeemish possibly! :D Climbed the Chief, 4 times! Climbed the face or hiked up the back? I've hiked it many times. Never climbed it.

Re: Hello from Squamish, BC, Canada
Hey Kerry! I spent a lot of time at the Shady Tree, the Watershed and... ugh... even the Grizz! I used to spend a lot of time in the bush beside the Cheakamus up in Paradise Valley. I'm in much the same boat as you, and have been practicing my acoustic playing and (mostly) my singing. It's a strugg...

Hello from Squamish, BC, Canada
Found my way here via TVvoodoo in another forum. I'm 65 years old. I started playing guitar 53 years ago but took a 20 year break in the middle. I used to be a pretty good player but time has taken it's toll. The break was because I was frustrated with my playing. When I started again I decided I wa...
