Re: AGF Evolution?

Yes its been a strange ride the last couple years for sure. I just don't have the gas anymore really, Rondo stopped making anything I liked plus I don't need em really. Just had my Gibson lp Futura setup by a Luthier I know and I'm bonding with it finally. I may actually sell one or two just to make...

Re: Tinnitus sufferers

Laying between two large speakers listening to Jimmy Hendrix got my left ear drum and firing my 45 to close to a flat boulder got the right one. Its a constant ring for me but I have learned to ignore it.

Re: OT: non-cryto wild money?

It seems to me like Bitcoin crashes and rebounds on a regular basis so why not buy the dips and sell when it rebounds over and over. There is a lot I don't know about crypto such as the exchanges which seem to be the ones I read about having been hacked and the percentage you must pay them also need...

Re: Bean Counters

We are beginning to pay the price for offshoring almost everything. I can remember reading about the massive stockpiles of corn and other foodstuffs when I was a young man here in America but then we went to a just in time supply chain and look where we are now. I need to get out and buy seeds for n...

Re: What if?

Anybody else solve problems in their sleep? When I run into a really slippery problem on a repair or the like, I take a nap. When I am slipping off to sleep I cast away the frustration and calmly focus on what I have seen, tested and what I'd like the outcome to be. Often I wake up, hit the bench a...

Re: Is the Firefly is the new al-2000

After reading your comments my fire for the FirerFly has gone out. I'm reminded of the bridge on my f338 buzzing so bad that I had to replace it and also the pickups. I sold it at the local guitar store as I remember.

Is the Firefly is the new al-2000

I just watched the video review of the Firefly lp copy by Philip McKnight and was impressed with what you get for $189. Now bear in mind that this guitar was sent to him knowning he would do an in depth review on it, so I would have to bet they made sure he got a good one. I'm most likely going to g...

Re: Vaccination progress where you are?

I'll get the booster as soon as it available because I just don't see any reason not to, why take a chance? As I stated before this virus is one that will just keep mutating making booster part of life just like the flu shot. I've heard the ridiculous idea that somehow there is a tracker that gets i...

I'm glad your house is able to handle that much rain Mickey. A couple weeks ago we got 3" in an hour which put the water in my yard no more than 1/2 inch from coming in the house, I cant imagine 12". We lost one poor teenager girl who got stuck in wash and then before help could arrive was...

Who do you use for Tutorials?

I really like this guy and am working on Drop dead Legs right now. For some reason I cant get to start from the beginning which is the best part of the tutorial. None the less He takes great care to get all the notes as they were played and the tone to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZs_Bw2_RCU&am...

Re: Vaccination progress where you are?

Lets say two people come face to face and both are wearing a mask then what I have read means that they are 70% protected. If only one is wearing a mask then that protection drops to 30% or less, Its worth it to me to help protect my neighbor. The Delta thing has changed these numbers but they are s...

Re: Dumb question, Mazda6 content.

Sometimes I start my computer and it fails to recognize my keyboard so I have to restart. I think that sometimes a computer just misses a step for whatever reason and needs a restart as what happened to your Mazda6, I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a constant feature which I doubt it will.

So sorry to hear that Mickey, I sure hope he comes out of it ok. Re: What is groove?

I find the groove to be a mystic thing which I either have or do not depending on the day. I have tried marijuana and various other drugs over the years and none are a reliable way of getting in the groove really, you either have it that day or you don't. I can play everything I know one day and it ...
