Re: Whats your' latest gear acquisition?
Been kinda passively on the hunt for a cool tele to add to the stable...came across this rare bird for just over $200 and jumped on it. These were made in the Fujigen factory in the early to mid 1970s and imported by an ex-Fender employee. Not a ton of information on 'em, but given that this is GC ...

I picked up this $30 beast over the weekend. I reshaped the headstock and swapped out the plastics. The pickups sound good so I left them in.

Re: Whats on your work bench?
I picked up this 1996 Washburn Billy T a couple of weeks ago. When I was adjusting the action the B and G strings were considerably lower than the others. I don’t know if it was the string slots on the saddles or a collapsed bridge. I had a roller bridge in the parts drawer so I decided it would be ...

If I can move some guitars I’ll let you know. I’m got a lot of Teles for sale at the moment. Any interest in a 1987 MIK Squier E10 Tele? Or maybe a Sterling SUB AX4? I had a black and yellow crackle one similar to the one in this pic. I put gold hardware on mine.

Re: Pandemic GAS
I´ve been gasin´ for the same two things basically, pre and post c19 time: a double cut LP style (AD3200 or Ibanez AR), and a RP500. Gasin´ is still free, isn´t it? :) Have you looked into the Hamer XT Series double cut LP style? I picked up 2 of them recently and they’re really good quality. 78E6B...

Re: Pandemic GAS
I’ve been the same gear hound through all this. I only buy gear with money I’ve made from selling other gear so it’s self sustaining, but my collection keeps getting nicer. Lately I’ve been selling several items and saving up for a single higher end one.

Re: Cracked out Reverb Sellers Pt2
There’s a local guy that’s been trying to do that with Firefly LP’s. He’s now below what they are new. He just listed a Kramer Baretta Special for $350. They’re $179 new. I think he’s going off of Reverb and eBay for sale prices and not sold prices.

I just fixed this Bosch router that I picked up for free on Facebook Marketplace. The control unit was bad and it needed a good cleaning inside. Now I can keep my old one permanently attached to the router table.

I was at a Guitar Center last weekend and I have as many electric guitars at home as they had on the wall. I also have a broader selection.

This one is going under the knife as soon as the rest of the parts roll in. It’s a ‘95 MIM Fender Squier Series. It’s getting vintage tuners, and a new Fender trem with stamped saddles and a full size block. I’ve got a set of pickups from a newer Fender Player Series with new pots and switch. It’s ...

I had every intention of flipping everything piece by piece but I think the amp is staying w...

How do you like the neck on it? Is it thin or beefy?
I’d call it a medium profile. It’s not chunky but it’s not super thin either.

Of one is on a budget, how about the Y-shaped wall hooks? Screwed into a wall stud, of course. I honestly don't know if these are a viable solution, but it's a thought. https://images.homedepot-static.com/productImages/a2fcd2ec-50b2-42c6-b529-dedfe9968dd6/svn/gray-everbilt-garage-storage-hooks-0121...

I rescued this $20 Strat copy last weekend. With some clamps and heat I was able to get the excessive backbow straightened out. I also loaded up a HSS pickguard and swapped it out. 1D52C887-3A2C-467C-84BF-1EF493481220.jpeg 5BBCC2CB-239D-4F0B-9686-0DD5C6B0F236.jpeg 97C0D8EB-BFD8-47E6-8B8F-4BD4A624A60...
