Re: What is your end game in buying guitars?

My “end game” has changed as my guitar journey has progressed. Early on I wanted to have as many different budget versions of each type of guitar as could find. Strats with all the pickups configurations, Teles with all the pickup configurations, etc…. I had at one point close to 40 guitars. But lat...

Hello again!

Hello! It’s been quite a long time since I stopped by this forum. But just before Christmas, I bought a used Agile on a whim. I was just browsing Facebook Market Place and saw this guitar. 54A87A25-0707-420A-A018-405C8258140E.jpeg I have never played a seven string or a multi scale guitar, but I mad...

sounded good to me! You're definitely braver than I am, I have never recorded myself on video, and only once or twice audio only I don’t know if I’m brave or dumb! LOL. Honestly, at my age, I just don’t care anymore. If it’s fun, I’ll do it! I conceded a long time ago that I’ll never be “good” at p...

golem wrote: Thu Sep 10, 2020 9:12 am Sounds great! The video was tripping me out. I assume the amp was so loud that it was vibrating whatever the camera was sitting on?
Yeah, my phone was sitting on my desk which is right next to the amp. Everything was shaking!

Joan Jett song with an Agile and a Marshall!

This is just a fun song to play. I came home from work one day a couple weeks ago and nobody was home. So of course I went down stairs and turned the amp up really loud! This is a P90 Agile straight into a Marshall dsl40. I totally f***ed up the little solo part, I was a fret off I think, but other ...

Re: Whats on your work bench?

I’m trying a new finish process that I have never done before. White washing. I bought this pine Tele body off of eBay. Sanded it all down and stained it with an ebony stain. Sanded that back down and tried the white wash. It’s not as white as I want, but is looking pretty cool. Might need to mix th...

Re: Whats on your work bench?

This is a body that somebody tried to strip the paint off with a heat gun. Problem is that it is a laminated body and the heat started to delaminate the wood. I removed all the loose wood and used automotive body filler to build it back up. I just got paint on it today and I think it turned out real...

I have a partscaster I am putting together. Kind of a Brad Gillis inspired guitar. It’s going to look bad ass, hoping it will sound as good as its going to look! 3F428220-29EE-480A-8D6A-1B51801F8391.jpeg AEDCCF7F-F409-4BF8-9792-A6CE18F1C8FB.jpeg 0AE54F0B-203B-4BB4-9D49-C94EE4494AD0.jpeg DE3FF184-362...

Thanks for the the info! But why can’t we just upload any photo on our phone to the forum? I am only on two forums, so I don’t have a lot of experience, but the other forum I’m on allows me to upload any size picture and they always show up exactly like they are on my iPhone. Re: Show a Guitar U Played Today

Playing this guy this morning. I bought this for next to nothing just because I thought it looked cool. I’ve had it for probably six months now and still haven’t even replaced the old rusty strings (which aren’t even wound properly on the pegs!). But is plays pretty nice. Every time I pick it up and...

Agile AD guitars

I have gotten pretty good at telling the different AL guitars apart, but I really don’t know much about the AD’s or maybe what I have is not even an AD!?! But here is my guitar. What is it? How can you tell? What sets the different models apart from each other? 7F39B536-8944-4503-9B8E-274A4AD5B835.j...

I have the Roland Micro Cube. It’s a very cool little amp that has a bunch of different amp simulations and effects. Runs on 110 volt or six AA batteries.

There has to be a way to just upload them from our phones. I am on the Squier Talk forum a lot and that’s how it is done there. Just click one button, select your photo, and it uploads it. Now I know nothing about running websites or forums, so I don’t know if it is feasible, but I do know it is pos...

Jay Turser Acoustic

Anyone else have one of these? I bought this one on SGW and got it for less than $50 shipped. It’s definitely an entry level guitar, but I bought it for a campfire guitar that I wouldn’t have to worry about. It will serve that purpose and then some. It really does sound pretty good and plays nice on...
