Re: Anyone familiar with "Emerald" Guitars???
I went to their website. Cool stuff for sure but they are proud of it. It looks like it would be well worth it though. Very high quality stuff from my view. Uh oh a guitar maker with principles and pride in their product.. how long can they last ? 25-ish years and counting, apparently. Interestingl...

Re: Michael Schenker Flying V "Clone"
The point on the headstock is more Epiphone than Gibson...but for around $300 shipped from the CCP there will be no major gripes here. Cheaper plastic nut is painted over on both sides, so may just leave in for now. I'd be worried about chipping the paint getting it out. Not sure what upgrades will...

Re: Anyone familiar with "Emerald" Guitars???
They sure look interesting! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZraM7pp7xpI I find it a little funny that this review sort of acts like what this guitar offers is something brand new...I literally bought a Godin XTSA a few days ago that does everything this guitar does and it came out almost 20 years a...

Re: Whats your' latest gear acquisition?
Got the Brian Moore shown above today and it's going right back, I guess after 30-ish insane GC steals over the years I had to FINALLY get a little boned  . This was listed as being in "excellent condition", which is the highest GC rating and described as "like new, free of blem...

Re: NGD - Godin XTSA!
Congrats! HGGD! - extra points for guessing what the other G stands for ;) -. Very nice guitar, I love it, and yes, Godin is a good name. Looking forward to yopur sound clips! Thanks man! Should be doing some this weekend, both with my 76 Hiwatt and my Fishman Loudbox acoustic amp. The piezo is rea...

Thank you! Really enjoying this one, pretty crazy how loud and resonant it is unplugged. The piezo is really to die for, I have never heard a better sounding piezo on a guitar.tonebender wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2023 11:56 am Happy NGD. I have owned a couple Godin guitars and they make quality stuff.

Re: NGD - Godin XTSA!
Nice! I've actually seen these Godins for even less and overlooked them. LOL. Perhaps I need to keep better track of what Godins are high end so when I see good deals on them I don't pass them up. There are basically two different eras for these models, the older ones like this one tend to sell for...

NGD - Godin XTSA!
Been looking for a nice multi-voice guitar to add to the stable...I've tried a few of the less pricey Godin models and knew that they made some really great stuff, so I put them on my shortlist for this hunt. After a failed Brian Moore iGuitar purchase (described as "like new" but more lik...

Re: Guitar Sale Lol Of The Day
In general, I'd love to grab one of @slowhand84 's many awesome GC finds. Granted, I have too many guitars as it is and probably need to move some things. Yep, GC Used is definitely quite the goldmine. I always share the wealth with all my tips and tricks for finding what I find, creates a bit more...

Re: Guitar Sale Lol Of The Day
Only time I returned a guitar a few days later was when @andrewsrea helped me take it apart and it wasn't what the seller said it was. Seller was gracious enough to let me return it. Yeah certainly if I accidentally misrepresented something I would take it back in a heartbeat, that would be 100% on...

Guitar Sale Lol Of The Day
Sold a guitar a few days ago to someone off one of the usual marketplaces...guy met up with me, played the guitar for maybe 5-6 minutes, said everything was great and bought it. Today, 3 days later, he emails me saying that the fret size is not what he's used to and asks if I'd be OK with him return...

Re: Agile AL3100 Birdseye at GC (with upgraded pups)
Looks like somebody might have been trying to do the Slash thing, though From the color of the bobbins those don't look like Duncan Alnico II pro pups. Could be worth it for someone to call the store, get a "sales tool"* on the line with a higher IQ than a wet sponge, and ask some questio...

Agile AL3100 Birdseye at GC (with upgraded pups)
https://www.guitarcenter.com/Used/Agile/3100-Solid-Body-Electric-Guitar.gc Nice little deal, despite the ding or two I can see on the body's edges. Pickups are definitely upgraded and that's probably the nicest birdseye top I've seen on an Agile. Someone grab this so I don't have to, I don't have an...

Re: Slowhand84's Guitar Extravaganza!
Thanks for sharing. I love the red Jackson Professional HSS Dinky. What is that, about a 96? What's really amazing is that the flame on some of those Harley Bentons is a outrageous as on the high end stuff. I'd sure like to crank that HIWATT and windmill some cowboy chords. I might even get airborn...

Re: Spark Go, anyone?
I have a Spark 40, and I like it! I'm on the verge of ordering a Go, since it can run on batteries and is sooo portable, but I do want to hear others' thoughts. Anybody already got one? I have a Spark 40 too and love it, and I also bought the Spark Mini when it came out (love it too). I don't see a...
