Re: Help/Question About Peavey Solid State Reverb Hum
Can be on of a few things: - Input and Output cables are reversed (most common). - Same cables have a poor connection. - Reverb springs in the tank broke and are touching the shell, or the tank is upside down from its intended mounting position. Be mindful of the tank code if replacing the tank, as...

Coil Split Wiring Help.
I have a few Epiphone wiring harnesses. They have molex connectors. So I got wiring adapters to wire the pickups to, so I could just snap them in. The hot and ground are not an issue. Easy even for me to figure out. It is the wires from the coil split. You can see in the Epiphone and Musiclilly Diag...

Help/Question About Peavey Solid State Reverb Hum
So I went to check out a Peavey Stereo Chorus 210 today...seller was selling at a really good price. All worked...except when I turned up the reverb...a terrible an loud hum/drone. Now I have tried amps, where the reverb was spotty or absent...just replaced the tank. I was wondering if a loud hum co...

I order from AliExpress often....maybe too often. Play their addictive games to get "coins". Every month or so they have a decent sale and when paired with your coins the saving are really nice. Also Rakuten chimes in and can often get to as high as 14%. Grabbed this during the last sale ...

Re: Question About Humbucker "Split" Wiring
Before proceeding full into @dabbler process (which is solid), identify the associated color pairs of each of the two humbucker coils. Since Donlis is a generic Chinese manufacturer and has no problem making exact copies, I'd venture they utilized either Duncan's or DiMarzio's color codes. Using a ...

There is a guy west of Chicago (west of me) in Somonauk, IL who does a lot of selling on the marketplace. Mike Raff is who he goes by on Facebook. These are just rebranded coming from Alibaba, many look exactly like the Firefly brand. He must have worked out a deal to have his "logo" on t...

Re: Wraparound Bridge for Les Paul Jr. .....
That looks like one of the Leo Quan Clones on Amazon or eBay. They usually measure 82 mm....hence the work needed to make it fit, since I would gather most Chibson are around 81mm. Both of my Chibsons are 81 mm. In my experience, that style has almost always been too high to get the action down to ...

Re: Wraparound Bridge for Les Paul Jr. .....
The OEM wrap around bridge on my Chibson LP Jr Single P90 would not intonate. That is the chance one takes with a Chibson for $225 Since it is a Chibson I had not idea what would fit so I put a rather inexpensive wrap around bridge with adjustable saddles. My guy had top to a little machine work on...

Re: Wraparound Bridge for Les Paul Jr. .....
Well @tobijohn suggested filing the inner areas of the bridge...after about 10 minutes of filing, I got enough off and now it fits! I was hoping for the Leo Quan Bad Ass...but at 16mm would be a bit high. This should suffice. Thanks all!

Wraparound Bridge for Les Paul Jr. .....
Les Paul Jr. copy to be exact. The pole spacing on the bridge studs is about 80.5 mm and making it really hard to find bridge that fits. Most are too wide and have gone back to Amazon. If anyone has any history with this....let me know what you used. I was trying to keep it reasonable, but now cost ...
