Re: I'm Fine , How are you ?
It felt so good to have such a nice welcome from everyone. I felt kinda "Douchey" dropping out at the END which indicates somewhat of a lack of character ( LOL ) . I HAVE felt a slowing down through these circumstances. I live alone and I live in a town that's a convenient commute but wher...

I've been resisting posting because I've been resisting posting. I"m not that comfortable with the format which is really an issue with me ( no kidding) I have been cooped up being as creative as possible. I've done a few online "shows" I've picked up a couple small guitars and a teno...

Re:Entertainment In Place ( Alfresco Edition)
I had such a great time today trying out another Rig.The mission was to get the same quality audio I typically get in a video OUTDOORS. Guitar and Mic go into a small Yamaha mixer ( WITH FX ) powered by a 12 volt rechargeable battery. Output of the mixer goes into my audio interface powered by a reg...

Re: Amazing "Pedal Amp Board"
So you're using the Wang Mini 5 as your amp? I don't have that but I have no doubt that 5 watts can be too loud for home use at times. The PS-1 is rated for 100 watts so it really attenuates a 5 watt. PS-1 stays cool, amp gets a little hot but not horrible.I think it'll take it. I'm just getting in...

Amazing "Pedal Amp Board"
IMG_4565.JPG IMG_4566.jpg Relying on Amp-Sims as many recordists do and for good reason, I have longed to bring some “moving air” of the analog into my sound. The availability of small tube amps has been a boon to guitar players but even One Watts can be very loud for an apartment dweller. My goal ...

Re: Hey! Look at my Gibson
As mentioned in my thread, I'm liking this forum more and more every time I log in...a forum just for Gibson is right up my alley. Here's one of mine and one of my favorites - a 1993 Studio with ebony board and stock P90's ( not P100's like the GEM series had ). This is one of 100 made. Holy Moley ...

Best of luck to you. I lost my job 10 years ago in the last "implosion". The start was shaky as I had one kid leaving college and one going in.I have lots of interests and threw myself fully into music. It takes time to wind down from the "conditionng" of work. You will do well !

Re: Writing Tunes - Changing Key Within a Song
Modulation can be effective to really propel a song emotionally used in the appropriate place. If it's random , it's a gimmick and confusing to the listener.

Re: How about SX GG7/EG7's ??
I LOVE mine. I have gigged it many times. It's small and light. The neck finish has a purplish tint to it which is not really pleasing but the fit and finish is amazingly nice . I had to reglue a fret marker.
