Re: Anyone here going ampless?

been using an HX Stomp with a little mini expression pedal for a while now. Fits right into my gig bag and the tones are great. I don't really use a whole ton of things in my chain so the effect limitation hasn't been an issue for me but I hear they are added some more blocks in the next major firmw...

Re: Whats on your work bench?

Been working on this the past 2 days. Had dual humbuckers before but I got some adapter rings and made it regular ol Tele setup. Still needs a full setup but it seems to twang despite the nontraditional components https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EnltTiQ4J_LuUFgrDf--6tQf76svVdlHM53qhKTaPzWySqVdXlO...

Man that Agile Epic is tempting but I don't think I can get myself to drive up there. GLWTS

What an awesome guitar with very interesting story! I vote for speed knobs, always a fan of Les Pauls with speed knobs regardless if its a LPC or not

Re: Agile with Fishman Fluence Pups...

I love my Fishman equipped guitars. I do think the modern set is a better version of the EMG 81/85 combo. However, I think the Classic set may have been a better fit for the Agile. The moderns may be a bit too aggressive for most buyers but I'm glad that this is available

Re: New PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo

Just answered my own question. $1,549 is the most expensive Chinese made electric guitar I've ever seen. prs.jpeg Yikes, I knew they moved a lot of their production from WMI to Cor-Tek Indonesia but didn't realize some of these upper end models were made by Cor-Tek China. Even the aforementioned Sc...

New PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo

Just got announced today. It looks stunning however the price tag seems pretty high. I think there are a couple of similar offerings out there but right now only the Schecter C-1 E/A comes to mind and thats a bit cheaper for about 2/3s the price. https://www.prsguitars.com/electrics/model/se_hollowb...

Re: Good cheap tele pups?

Lots of great suggestions here. Was really more curious about what is out there more than anything else. I decided to go with Buddha once again but I'll have to check out some of the ones listed that I haven't heard about before at some point

Anyone make pickguards here?

The pickguard on my Warmoth Strat is all cracked and warped (which is honestly not a bad thing since it's a slightly relic'd guitar) but I thought I'd take the opportunity to swap it out for a pearl guard of some sort. I contacted Warmoth to see if they would make a 24 fret strat pickguard since the...

Re: No love for the bottom?

I'll get a pic of my Brice bass after i figure out how to clean the thing. It's got an open pore finish and it looks super nasty right now. Anyone have any tips on how to clean it?

Re: Spark - Positive Grid

I've tried Positive Grid plugins and apps and thought it always sounded pretty decent but nothing ever blew me away. I'd be interested in trying one of these out though. Seems like the price might make it a worthwhile purchase for some.

Good cheap tele pups?

Getting tired of the dual humbuckers in my Tele and am looking to get it to regular ol tele configuration. Anyone got suggestions for some good sounding Tele pickups that won't break the bank? I don't really know much about them but I tried a Fender offering at GC one time. I think it was a Twisted ...
